Painted full length silhouette of a gentleman with a top hat and cane. On paper, signed on back by W. G. Munson 1820. 12 1/2" X 10 5/8".
Pair of nicely executed hollow cut silhouettes by Henry Williams (1787-1830). Stamped under each image "WILLIAMS". Probably Boston, MA area. Nice frames.
A very fine miniature portrait, I believe on ivory, of a gentleman with long sideburns. Excellent case. Dated on back 1841. 4 3/4" X 4 1/4".
Nicely executed profile portrait miniature in a ribbon frame. Probably the work of J. H. Gillespie (Fl. 1828-1838). The gentleman is dressed in an overcoat and blue vest with a jeweled clasp. His hair is parted and he has a little shadow beard. There is a bit of flaking, particularly at the coat collar and the bottom. The frame is pine with a mahogany ribbon insert and facial band. There is a small chip lower right. Overall: 5 1/4" X 4 3/4". Sight: 3" X 2 1/2".
